My podcast is called Nash Holos (which means "our voice") and it consists of Ukrainian content delivered in English - traditional and contemporary Ukrainian music, cooking and travel tips, spiritual reflections, interviews, weekly proverbs, and other items of interest to the Ukrainian community in the Vancouver area... and beyond. NH is upbeat and light-hearted, with cross-generational, cross-cultural and (according to the web stats) global appeal. The podcast began life as a weekly radio program on a local ethnic radio station, and has become British Columbia's longest-running Ukrainian radio program. It airs Sundays at 6 pm PST on AM1320, streaming at www.am1320.com and archived at www.nashholos.com. In 2003 I discovered how to add audio files to the website, and a couple of years ago I discovered Poderator. My audience, happily, continues to grow, not least of all because "time-shifters" can now find the xml feed ... which, thanks to Poderator, is very easy to create.
A friend and I recently started a song a week thing where we write, record and release a new song a week. Check it out if you have few. I think they're pretty good for only a week's worth of time :).
